This is a patient in her 40s who desired additional fullness of her upper lip.  She also wanted to decrease the length of the skin between the nose and lip.  She had tried lip fillers in the past but was not getting the results she wanted.  She underwent a surgical upper lip lift.  A total of 0.8 cm of skin was removed from under the nose to achieve this lovely result.

This is a patient in her 50s who desired more volume of her upper lip.  She wanted a more permanent result, so she chose to undergo a surgical upper lip lift.  A total of 0.7 cm of skin was removed from under the nose, leaving a scar that is barely perceptible.

This is a patient in her 40s who was concerned with the following appearance of her lips. She had been getting regular filler injections but sometimes noticed that her lips had a “duck” appearance.  Before fillers she felt like her lip disappeared when smiling and with the fillers she felt like she could not see her teeth when she smile.  She underwent a surgical upper lip lift.  A total of 0.8 cm of skin was removed from under the nose to achieve this perfectly pouty result.

This is a patient in her 50s who experienced significant aging of her eyes.  She had so much excess eyelid skin that it rested on her eyelashes.  The extra skin contributed to headaches as she had to use her forehead muscles to lift up the extra skin.  She underwent an upper and lower blepharoplasty (quad blepharoplasty).  Dr. Elswick used a technique called fat-pad transposition which repurposes some of the fat to fill in hollowing where the eyelid and cheek meet.  11 mm of skin was removed from the right upper eyelid, 13 mm of the left upper eyelid, 9 mm from the right lower eyelid, and 10 mm from the left lower eyelid; that is almost an inch of skin from each eyelid!  You can now see her beautiful eyes!

This is a patient in her 50s who was bothered by the extra fat in her chin and neck.  Her mother and grandmother had similar necks as they aged.  She underwent liposuction of this area.  A total of 50 cc of fat was obtained.  She is extremely excited about her more youthful-appearing neck with a better defined jawline!
