Irregular or disproportionate breasts after implant surgery?

Are your breast implants hard, uneven or causing pain?  If you answered yes, you may be experiencing symptoms of a capsular contracture.  This is a hardening and constriction of the breast implant capsule that causes the breasts to become hard, distorted, misshaped or oddly positioned.

Previously the corrective action was surgery.  However, we offer a new multi-energy therapy called Aspen that can sometimes correct the contracture without surgery.

Here are some commonly asked questions:

How does Aspen work for someone with a breast implant contracture?

The Aspen System uses a controlled sound wave energy that helps to soften the capsule and the surrounding scar tissue.  After numerous treatments your breast will soften and can move into the correw position.

Does Aspen hurt?

The treatment may feel uncomfortable for your 1st – 3rd session and are quite tolerable thereafter.  You may be a bit tender after a treatment and can reduce soreness by icing or taking ibuprofen if needed.

How many treatments do I need?

A total of 8 to 10 treatments are recommended to achieve the desired results for softening.  It is suggested to have two treatments a week.  On average, the treatment is completed within 60 minutes.

Our office is located in Troy, MI and the only practice in the state that offers the Aspen Therapy. Please call (248) 524-0620 today for a complimentary consultation or for additional information.
